Rolls of Honour: Dutch RAF/FAA Engelandvaarders MIA & KIA

The 36 Engelandvaarders that became aviators, and that were KIA or MIA in Europe in the period under consideration, are listed below. The order is chronological regarding the date of death. No distinction is made between KIA & KIFA as cause of death. The Engelandvaarders were first interrogated by MI5, and if the political reliability was established, they were send on for interrogation by the Dutch Centrale Inlichtingen Dienst (CID), transformed in 1942 in the Politie-Buitendienst (PBD). The interrogation reports, as preserved in the Nationaal Archief, Den Haag, archief Ministerie van Justitie te London, are mentioned below.
