Kolff, Herman, Ltz 1kl. Born Brummen 12/11/1907.

Cdt. 321 Sqn 01/07/1940-12/08/1940. Transferred to London 12/08/1940.

Send to Curaçao in May 1942.

13/5/1942, Caraibic Ocean between Trinidad and Curaçao, on board the Belgian vessel m.s. Brabant, that was sunk by a torpedo. MIA. OGS: yes.

Floor:

Op 13 mei 1942 werd het Belgische motorschip Brabant van de maatschappij Armement Deppe, op weg van Glasgow naar Curaçao via Trinidad, getorpedeerd door de Duitse onderzeeboot U 155. Het zonk snel en daarbij kwamen onder meer de luitenants ter zee H. Kolff 15 en W.J. Bouman, die bestemd waren voor dienst bij de Marineluchtvaartdienst op Curaçao, om het leven.

Note: W.J. Bouman did not serve with the Dutch RAF.
