Jerzy B Cynk, in 'The PAF at War' states that this Halifax wreck is almost certainly JP295 as it is the only Polish Halifax unaccounted for. He also says that 'confusing contemporary reports from the Polish Underground linked the Branica wreckage with Liberator EW275, brought down in nearby Olszyny, ten nights earlier.
