There is a rogue group of copyright infringers who have stolen a much earlier version of my data - from at least 10 years ago - and have the affrontery to publish that, along with using my name, on their poorly researched website. They claim this is the 'original' Kracker Archive, a ridiculous claim since my Archive has been in a state of continuous development for over 30 years and nobody - NOBODY - has the original. They have no right to use my name or my data and readers who come across this nonsense should do nothing to encourage theft of this nature. I am outraged by this blatant theft and misrepresentation of my lifetime's work. The ONLY person I have ever authorized to publish my data and use my name is Kelvin Youngs, who earned my trust and respect many years ago and is authorized by me to publish my work on whichever website he organizes, currently this being its present home at the highly respected Aircrew Remembered.

Uffz Böhmke is buried in a single grave, Wuppertal-Vohwinkel Katholischer Friedhof. Gefr Eisen is buried in Stuttgart Waldfriedhof, Blk 32G, Gr 16787. Uffz Slopianka has not yet been transferred to a military cemetery, but a grave is understood to exist at Ruciane Nida, Warmian-Masurian, Voivodeship, Poland. The Onlineprojekt Gefallenendenkmäler shows the cause of the accident was "Absturz Schneetreiben, gefallen", believed to have been a snow storm. He is buried in the Heldenfriedhof in Kherson, Row 6, Grave 305. Injured in his F-4, in a takeoff accident at Pitomnik airfield, on 6 October, 1942 (D.Drury & E.Mombeek).

WIA 13 May, 1940 in his E-3 in aerial combat with a Defiant, crashing 2e Dwarsweg, at Numansdorp, near Dordrecht. 4 bombers. One known victory, a B-17 on 4 April, 1943, of the 305BG, 366BS flown by Lt Harold P. Neill. Two were killed, the rest were POWs. Shot down 14 May, 1943, in Fw 190A-5 Werk # 7326 "Black 19"; he was fortunate to survive bailing out when his chute failed to open properly. Another victory, a B-17 # 42-30389 "Dear Mom" of 94BG, 331BS, crashing at Lummen, Be. with the loss of six crew. His 30th, a Spitfire E of Furnes on 19 September, 1943. A P-51 at Recklinhausen on 23 September, 1944. All victories in the West. His first victory, a Hurricane northwest of Dunkirk, 1 June, 1940. His 2nd, a Spitfire at Dunkirk on 2 June, 1940. Nos.3 & 4, both Hurricanes at Maidstone on 13 August, 1940. His 5th, a Hurricane 30 km NW of Folkestone on 6 September, 1940. His 43rd, and last victory, a Spitfire at Ibbenbüren on 14 January, 1945. One of very few Pre-war pilots to survive the war! Borris was the only pilot to serve in JG-26 from 1939 to VE day in 1945. Flew Fw 190D-9s in 1945. Deceased 18 August, 1981.

Shot down 31 December, 1944 by Spitfires. He was forced to bail out of his damaged K-4. Badly injured, he was sent to a hospital, and would never fly again. He came to III Group at the end of 1942, having fought in Africa, Italy and Romainia, gaining many victories. 13 bombers. His 1st aerial victory was a Spitfire on 4 May, 1943, at the end of the N.African campaign. His 2nd, in Sicily, a B-25 on 18 June, 1943. His 3rd, a P-38F on 24 June, 1943. His 5th, a Beaufighter over s.Italy, 28 August, 1943. Numerous victories over Romania in April, 1944. A B-24 in the Balkans on 5 April, 1944. His 10th, a B-17 on 24 April, 1944 in the Balkans still. His 15th, still in the Balkans, a B-24 (HSS) at Liegeplatz: Mizil/Rum (Romania) on 15 July, 1944. His 17th & 18th, both B-24s over the Balkans, on 28 July, 1944. A P-51 over the Balkans on 10 August, 1944. His 20th, 21st, and 22nd, all Yak 9s over Romania on 20 August, 1944. His 23rd & 24th, an IL-2 and a Yak 9 over Romania on 21 August, 1944. KIC 2 February, 1942 in his E-2 at Olanga Norway due to poor visibility. Buried Rovaniemi-Norvajaerui, 3-4, Finland (Rosseels). His R/O/Gunner, Fw Herbert Baus was lightly wounded. Brandis became the first casualty of his 6(Z)/JG-5. Barbarossa pilot. He was reported to have made an emergency landing in Wk# 4114 at Tärendö Sweden on 1 September, 1941, due to lack of fuel after a combat mission in Russia (Source: SIG Norway). His R/O, Uffz Herbert Baus was injured. His E-1 was also flown by Karl F. Koch. After the Swedes inspected his undamaged E-1, it was returned to Germany on 18 September, 1941 (Source: B.Widfeldt). One known victory, a Hudson into the sea off Bergen, 80 km west of Herdla, on 1 June, 1941. In the winter of 1941-42, Brandis and Baus shot down 14 Soviet aircraft. Bowers/Lednicer, 14 victories.

Seriously wounded during this encounter, he managed to return to base where he crash landed his Bf 109E, and was pulled from the burning wreckage. This kept him out of action for seven weeks. Channel pilot. Brüstellin replaced Hans Karl Mayer as Kdr I/JG-53 after Mayers death in October, 1940. Hans was Stfkpt of 3/JG-135 until named Kdr of I/JG-51 in October, 1939, replacing Ernst von Berg. He was Kdr JG-106 in September, 1944. Deceased 7 February, 1997. Alternate spelling: Brustellin.
