WW2 Cartoons by Ricky - RCAF

These wartime cartoons are very evocative of life in the RCAF during WW2. We would like to put together a full story of Ricky - who he was, what units he served in, whether he survived the war and if so, where did he go? If you have any information to add to this story please contact us via the Helpdesk. And if you have more Ricky cartoons: send them along!

Cartoon kindly donated by John Baxter. His father, Flt Lt. Baxter depicted in the cartoon (Trenton 1941), was a medical officer who it is believed to have known Ricky. Flt Lt. Baxter, later Wg Cdr., served overseas between 1942 and 1944.
