REASON FOR LOSS:
Hit by flak, forced landed on the beach near Rockanje Holland at 19:30 Hrs.
DFC citation London Gazette 08th October 1940:
"This officer has shot down five hostile aircraft. He has shown great personal gallantry and splendid skill in action".
