REASON FOR LOSS:
It seems that two aircraft collided near Radcliffe-on-Trent at 14:45 hrs - the other aircraft involved was also a Miles Master III, DL612 no details as to what happened to this. We welcome any further information.
The instructor Fl/Sgt. Czachia (shown above) managed to bale out uninjured.
Burial details:
L.A.C. Tadeusz Eret. Newark Upon Trent Cemetery. Sect. J. Grave19. Born on the 19th November 1921 in Brzeście, Poland.

Stefan Czachla (Curtis). Vale Cemetery and Crematorium. Section P, Row 2, Grave 27. Husband of Stanislawa Curtis, of Luton, England. Went on to join 316 Squadron, died in Luton on the 30th November age 76.
