Sadly we have to withdraw our ability to accept Guestbook entries because of the large number of pathetic fake entries being made every day by scammers, each of which we have to manually delete, a process that consumes too much of our time. If you would like to communicate with us, can you kindy do so via our Helpdesk, or via our Donate page where you can send us a question or message of support. Does anyone have an image of Panel 19, Column 1 on the Malta memorial please? I am led to believe my uncle, James Mills died when the plane he was in went missing between Naples and France in November 1945. My father, his brother has never been able to visit the memorial and is now too frail to travel, but would really appreciate sight of Jimmy's place on the roll.

On behalf of Mrs Ruth Wilson I would like to express her sincere thanks for the research you have carried out concerning her brother W.O. Douglas Scott McGregor DFM and the loss of the crew on Lancaster LM750 from 153 Squadron on 3rd. March 1945. Much of the history of his loss was unknown to Mrs Wilson and her family, and through your admirable efforts and inspiring website his memory can live on. Keep up the good work Kelvin.

Thanks so much for including an in-depth page on The Richmond Crew of Wellington HZ 471 out of East moor and listed as FTR May 29/30, 1943. I never got to know my uncle Sam Levitt, navigator with that crew. My mother (his sister) never gave up trying to find out what happened to them but was never able to get closure. My research uncovered a lot of information and now it will be preserved for all to see on your wonderful website. Thank you very much.

We found the graves of this crew on a visit to Bayeux. Having done our 'own' photographs we moved around the graves and found the two stones together and two beside them. The graves had Austraiona flags on them and crosses with poppies. On our arrival home I found out all that I could about the men. It made an interesting and very sad story. Thank you for the extra information. It is also good to see the photographs.

I am related to Air/Gnr Frank Banks who was killed in WellingtonX LN385 (Salerno). My grandfather Enoch Banks (b.1900 in Wednesfield nr Willenhall Staffordshire) was the brother of Frank Banks's father Abraham Banks (b. 1895). I don't have much more info on Franks family (have a picture when he was about 7!), his sister Hazel emigrated to Australia (who has since died)but there are living offspring (unsure where though!). I believe his wife Ivy nee Blount married again to Stanley Jarvis and had a son Robert?, but that's all I'm afraid. If there is any info you can release regarding the crash I would appreciate it, my wife and I are compiling a family tree so we would be very interested. Jonathan Pountney
