What does a 'Gardening' operation mean

Solution

This was a codename given to the dropping of mines from aircraft at various locations - normally entrances to enemy ports and high activity enemy shipping lanes.

We have a map showing the names of the various Gardening operations available to download. This is a low quality to enable fast download. If you require higher quality then please cntact us - this could be emailed to you. We are happy for you to use this on your own website, without changes and credits placed to its origin.
