No, we are trying to overcome this.

We realise that the only reason a Lancaster takes off or a Spitfire manages to land safely is because of the thousands of ground crew - including WAAFS, people who made the tea, packed the parachutes, made the uniforms, housed the airman/women, helped in the effort - from all nationlities.

Sometimes these people don't understand what important part they played.

We do - send your story - remember them for what they did!
