REASON FOR LOSS:
Disappeared in clouds and crashed near Blackburn, Lancashire, England.
P/O. Pucek had escaped injured from a previous accident on the 1st December 1941 also with 317 squadron.
After a scramble, he overshot the landing in Exeter in Spitfire Vb ADD372 - the aircraft was repaired with P/O. Pucek spending some time convalescing, prior to his return to the squadron.
