REASON FOR LOSS:
On an Interception and formation flying training when during the flight collided in the air with Sgt. Stanislaw Slowikowski who had joined the squadron from 303 based at Speke just 9 days previously.His Spitfire W3724 crashed into the Ruislip Lido and was killed instantly. Sgt. Slowikowski although injured, managed to land.

Burial Details:
Sgt. Tadeusz Zawistowski. Northwood Cemetery. Sect H. Grave 188. Born Wilno, Służył, Poland on the 12th October 1915. Next of Kin details currently unavailable.
