Base: LG.207 (El Kasasin), Egypt

Location: Half mile South West of El Kasasin, Egypt

Pilot: P/O. Jerzy Jan Glowacki P-0779 PAF Age 24. Killed

REASON FOR LOSS:

The newly formed squadron were posted to El Kasasin L.G. and lived under canvas in the desert - the crews soon dropped the 'K' from the name.

Full details not available but it seems that during a training flight on artillery range practice Hurricane BN270 collided with that of Fl/Lt. Jan Blasczczyk in Hurricane BP135 at 10:40 hrs.

P/O. Jerzy Jan Glowacki. Tel-El-Khebir Cemetery, Egypt. Plot 4, Row D, Grave 3. Born 2 December 1919, Next of kin details not available as yet.
