A 2nd, a Stirling on 3 February, 1943. A 3rd, an Australian Lancaster of RAF No. 460 Sq, piloted by F/Lt K.H. Grenfell, at Kloosterhaar, 700 m from Overijssel the night of 29/30 March, 1943. After this incident, he was killed when he crashed his 110 northeast of Vriezenveen Holland, NW of Almelo, after taking return fire from the Lancaster tailgunner, F/Sgt S.G. Webb. His R/O, Uffz Willi Vogt was also KilledInAction (KIA). Both planes crashed and there were no survivors.
