There is a rogue group of copyright infringers who have stolen a much earlier version of my data - from at least 10 years ago - and have the affrontery to publish that, along with using my name, on their poorly researched website. They claim this is the 'original' Kracker Archive, a ridiculous claim since my Archive has been in a state of continuous development for over 30 years and nobody - NOBODY - has the original. They have no right to use my name or my data and readers who come across this nonsense should do nothing to encourage theft of this nature. I am outraged by this blatant theft and misrepresentation of my lifetime's work. The ONLY person I have ever authorized to publish my data and use my name is Kelvin Youngs, who earned my trust and respect many years ago and is authorized by me to publish my work on whichever website he organizes, currently this being its present home at the highly respected Aircrew Remembered.

Channel pilot. NN "Mosskopf". In May 1942 his R/O was War Reporter Hanns Gross. British POW 11 November, 1942 when his unit was attacked by 40 Kittyhawks and he was shot down. He managed to crash his burning AC and he and R/O August Brandt became British prisoners. He was released in February, 1947. 160+ missions mostly in Africa and the Med. Deceased 11 February, 2002 Munich (P. Bastin).

One known Desert victory, a P-40 of RAF No. 112 Sq. near Marsa Brega on 10 December, 1942. His 38th victory, a Lancaster at Bottrop-Recklinghausen on 12 December, 1944. 527 combat missions, including over 100 close support sorties. 35 victories in the West. 11 four engine bombers. Lost a leg in aerial combat in North Afrca on 14 January, 1943. His 39th victory, a LaGG-3 on 19 February, 1945. Nos 40 to 42, two Pe-2s and a LaGG-3 on 3 March, 1945. 3./KG 54Ju 88 A-4 (Trop) "B3 + PL" Werknr 1214 (lost)Added by CK: Started on 19th April 1944 from Wittmundhafen to bomb London. Having bombed target was hit in the port engine by A.A. at 12,000 ft. The engine eventually caught fire and in the ensuing confusion the crew lost their bearings and belly landed at the RAF airfield under the impression that it was a Continental airfield.
