There is a rogue group of copyright infringers who have stolen a much earlier version of my data - from at least 10 years ago - and have the affrontery to publish that, along with using my name, on their poorly researched website. They claim this is the 'original' Kracker Archive, a ridiculous claim since my Archive has been in a state of continuous development for over 30 years and nobody - NOBODY - has the original. They have no right to use my name or my data and readers who come across this nonsense should do nothing to encourage theft of this nature. I am outraged by this blatant theft and misrepresentation of my lifetime's work. The ONLY person I have ever authorized to publish my data and use my name is Kelvin Youngs, who earned my trust and respect many years ago and is authorized by me to publish my work on whichever website he organizes, currently this being its present home at the highly respected Aircrew Remembered.

One known victory, a P-38 at Hohe Venn on 17 December, 1944. One known Me 262 victory, a P-38 on 21 March, 1945. Deceased 10 April, 2002.

Soviet victories 2, 3 & 4, all DB-3Fs the night of 19-20 September, 1944. A 5th Soviet, a DB-3F the night of 20-21 September, 1944. His 3rd, another Wellington 10 km northwest of Petten, 14 March, 1941. His 4th, a Wellington R1322" on 9 May, 1941 Ijsselmeer. His 5th, a Whitley of RAF No. 58 Sq. at Einkhuizen, north Holland, 11-12 May, 1941. His 6th, a Wellington the night of 12-13 June, 1941 at Wervershoof, northwest of Enkhuizen. A Wellington into the See on 21 January, 1942. Also credited with 4 "Probables". His R/O Erich Schreiber since December, 1940 was KilledInAction (KIA) in 1942. Deceased 16 June, 1999. Added: His R/O Erich Schreiber (see picture) was KIA on 6-7/09/43 due to return fire over Landsberg (CKönig).

Also an "unconfirmed B-17 on the 25th, no location. The 1944 notations are attributed to an Ofw Sauerwein, and I have placed them with Heinrich, perhaps erroneously. May be two different persons. I think the ZG and NJG designations may be one or the other. Alternate spelling: Saüerein

The name Helmet was given by Boiten.

Night Fighter Operational Clasp		Opposed the 6 March, 1944 Berlin Raid. With R/O Uffz Hein Hafemeier, he was shot down near Berlin by a P-51 of 357FG, flown by Lt. Leroy Ruder, but he managed a wheels up landing in a field near Albertshof, near Bernau, northeast of Berlin. Two known victories: a Lancaster of RAF No. 44 Sq. on 3 March, 1945 at Hull (this referred to as his 4th); the 2nd, another Lancaster of RAF No. 197 Sq. on 7 March, 1945. On 23 August, 1943, he was shot down by friendly flak. His R/O this date was Gefr Heinz Schmitz. In Jan, 1945, his R/O was Ofw Engelhardt. Bolten 4 victories.

Fighter Operational Clasp		Served in the Austrian Air Force in the 1930s. Polish Campaign. The Fw 190A-6 bore "White1". Served also in JG-77 in N. Africa (11/42), EKdo 16, JG-301, and JG-400. Sources say his victories number anywhere from 2 to 34. One known victory, his 13th, a P-40 in N. Africa on 9 November, 1942. His 14th, a Spitfire in N. Africa on 13 December, 1942. His arm wound was severe enough, that he was removed from combat operations. Deceased 3 March, 1982. Magnus suggests he was also in JG-301. Alternate spelling: Bacsila or Bascilla. Added: According to Weal (Sturmgruppen) Shortly after his 14th victory on 13/12/42 he was brought down behind enemy lines by British Flak, but he was able to make his way back to friendly territory on foot. "Following the evacuation of Tunisia, Bacsila returned to the Russian front where he volunteered for Sturmstaffel 1 as the right hand of Von Kornatski due to his experience (CKönig)

His friend, Otto Büssow, died in Werk # 412179 on 30 May, 1944 near Belzig, after aerial combat with a P-51. His 19th, an La-5 SE of Graudenz in February, 1945, no date given. Nos. 20 to 25, two Il-2s, two Yak-3s, an La-7 and a Yak-9 during the month of March, 1945, no specific dates. His 26th, and last victory, a Pe-2 NE of Pillan, near the end of April, 1945. His victories were 4 American AC and 22 Soviet AC. He flew 126 missions in the East, and an unknown number on the western front. He was shot down 13 times, 11 by Flak and twice by enemy fighters. On 4 May, 1945, out of gas, he crashed landed Bf 109G-10/R3 Wk#130297 "Black 5" in neutral Sweden at Bulltofta airfield, near Malmo, and was interned, and later turned over to the Russians, released in Sept, 1949. He worked for several U.S. AC manufacturers, retiring in 1988. Alternate spellings; Petschler and Petzchler. Deceased 16 May, 2011 in the USA (P. Bastin). Plus 22 Unconfirmed. 2 Bombers in Me 262. 442 combat missions. His first known Soviet victory, two I-15s on 19 July, 1941, while in 1(Erg)/JG-54. One of many multiples, he downed three LaGG-5s and three LaGG-3s on 21 June, 1943. Another, three Yak-1s, four LaGG-3s and three MiG-3s, for a total of 10 victoriesin 4 hours, 22 minutes on 24 June, 1943. "Nowi" crashed "Black 1", Wk# 10360, making a victory pass and running out of fuel. He was unhurt. Scored JG-54s 250th victory in #410004, an A-5, and the 300th victory in an A-8 "White 8" both of I/JG-54. Took command of Kdo Nowotny in September of 1944. On 8 Nov., 1944, while Kdr III/JG-6,after downing a bomber (# 258) in his Me 262A-1a Wk# 110400 "White 8", he suffered engine failure and was attacked over Achmer airfield by Mustangs. His victors are said to be 1/Lt Edw "Buddy" Haydon of 357FG & Capt Ernest "Feeb" Fiebelkorn of 20FG. He was killed in the ensuing crash, at Epe, 2.5 km East of Hesepe. Germanys 5th Leading Ace. Wübke was shot down six times while with JG-54. In large white letters (in German), he had painted "I fly for the Reichsbahn". When asked about this, he said "I always come back by train" which he had done on his last three missions. Most times his AC were salvagable. His last was on 27 July, 1943 in Werk# 20097 "White 2" just east of the Schiphol, Holland Airfield. He had been wounded two times while serving with JG-54. His first known Channel victory, a Blenheim on 9 September, 1940. His 2nd, a Blenheim on 11 September, 1940, no location. His 3rd, a Spitfire in the Rochester area on 5 October, 1940. Night Fighter Operational Clasp		Shot down with wounds (2nd degree burns to his face) the night of 16/17 June, 1944, during aerial combat with a Mosquito near Laon-Athies. With his right engine out, he attempted an emergency landing, but the Mosquito foiled his attempt. The remaining crew were killed in the crash. He was a post-war POW, being released on 19 January, 1946. Returning to France, he served 5 years of hard labor and 10 years prohibition from residence in Alsace. After his Youth assignment, he joined the Luftwaffe in late 1941. He flew his first operational sortie on 3 January, 1944. One known victory, a B-24 of the 801st BG, 406BS, piloted by Lt Ernest B.Fitzpatrick, on 30 May, 1944, during Operation "Quarion". Flugbuch. Pictured in the Neulen book on Axis Volunteer pilots in the Luftwaffe. His Given name, Charles F. Kern. Survived the war, deceased 10 June, 2013 (Philippe Bastin & LOCS).
