There is a rogue group of copyright infringers who have stolen a much earlier version of my data - from at least 10 years ago - and have the affrontery to publish that, along with using my name, on their poorly researched website. They claim this is the 'original' Kracker Archive, a ridiculous claim since my Archive has been in a state of continuous development for over 30 years and nobody - NOBODY - has the original. POW. On 9 July, 1943, he landed behind enemy lines in "White 4" near Orel S.U. to rescue a shot-down fellow pilot, Lt Siegfried Seyler (killed by Soviet infantry), but was taken prisoner himself. He "damaged" a Sworfish over the English Channel on 21 July, 1940, an Uffz at the time. Another "damaged" claim, a Spitfire NE of Margate on 24 July, 1940. His first known Soviet victory, a DB-3 on 7 January, 1942. An I-61 on 18 February, 1942. A Soviet Hurricane on 23 June, 1942. An I-16 Rata on 21 July, 1942. An I-16 Rata, an I-153 and a LaGG-3 on 23 August, 1942. A LaGG-3 on 26 August, 1942. Three LaGG-3s and an I-16 Rata on 30 August, 1942. An I-16 Rata and a LaGG-3 on 6 November, 1942. EK 1 + 2 		POW 7 September, 1940 after making a forced landing at Sheerlands Farm, Pluckley, Kent resulting from aerial combat with Hurricanes of RAF No. 501 Sq.. On 16 April, 1942, he broke out of the large POW Camp at Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada. After stealing a boat near Windsor and paddling to Belle Island in the Detroit River, he fled rapidly through Detroit, Chicago and Dallas on his way to Mexico. He was arrested in San Antonio on 1 May, 1942, after a hotel clerk became suspicious and called the FBI, and was returned to the Canadian Camp. His first victory, a Spitfire I near Waalhaven, 13 May, 1940, and a 2nd, a Spitfire I near Dordrecht, same day. His 3rd, a Hurricane north of Dunkirk, 1 June, 1940. His 4th, another Hurricane north of Dunkirk, 2 June, 1940. Another known victory, his 5th, a Spitfire over Margate on 12 August, 1940. His 6th, a Spitfire SW of Dover on 14 August, 1940. His 7th, a Spitfire at Folkestone on 15 August, 1940. His 8th, a Spitfire at Marquise on 22 August, 1940. His 9th, a Fairey Battle of No.142 Sq. at Boulogne on 23 August, 1940. The Bowers/Lednicer Ace List identifies Hans as "Heinz".

He flew in France, Poland, over England, the Balkans and Russia. 638 combat missions, including 63 fighter-bomber and 85 close support. Thought to have flown bombers also. One victory in the West. 24 Il-2s. His two D-1 "White ?",were 60% damaged on 9 Sept., 1939 and 80% damaged on 18 Sept., 1939, both over Celle. His first victory, a Blenheim near Gross Bersen/Emsland, 30 October, 1939. His first known Soviet victory, a DB-3 on 30 June, 1941. A Yak-1 on 15 May, 1942. An Il-2 on 23 August, 1942. One known victory, his 1st, a B-17 (HSS) on 26 July, 1943. Another, his 2nd, a B-17 at Eberstadt, W of Bad Mergentheim on 14 October, 1943. His 6th, a B-17 on 11 January, 1944. His 7th, a P-47 on 30 January, 1944.

KilledInAction (KIA) 3 November, 1943 during aerial combat at Bad Zwischenahn with American bombers and P-38s, opposing the Wilhelmshaven raid. His A-6 "White 7" was hit and exploded. No known grave. He scored IV/JG-1s ist Fw 190 victory, a Boston III of RAF No. 226 Sq. which crashed into the sea, 20 km W of Callantsoog Holland, on 4 July, 1942. Opposed the 306th BG over Wilhelmshaven on 21 May, 1943. Here he scored his 2nd victory, a B-17. His 1st victory, a Boston III west of Den Helder on 4 July, 1942. His 3rd, a B-17 at Wageningen on 22 June, 1943. His 4th, a B-17 at Breda on 19 August, 1943. His 5th, a B-17 on 8 October, 1943. His 6th, a B-17 on 10 October, 1943. His 7th, a B-17 on 14 October, 1943.

Forced to bail from his Me 262 on 30 July, 1944. A fighter pilot from 1938 to the end! His 1st victory, a Blenheim 60 km north of Terschelling, 5 May, 1940. His 65th victory, a P-47 at Neumünster-Plön on 13 May, 1944. His 68th, and last victory, a P-47 over northern France on 30 July, 1944. Seriously wounded in Bf 109G-6 Wk# 413577 "White 12" on 9 August, 1944 during a parachute jump and remained hospitalized until February 1945. Over 1000 combat missions. 42 of his victories were in the East. One known, his 27th, a Soviet I-16 Rata on 15 January, 1942. A double Soviet victory on 12 May, 1942; An R-Z and an Su-2. His 40th, a Soviet unnamed AC on 10 June, 1942. Served as a pre-war pilot, then in Poland, France, Battle of Britain, North Africa, Balkans, Soviet Union, Italy, the Dolomites and the Defense of the Reich. Bowers/Lednicer, 68 victories. Deceased 5 December, 2003.

KilledInAction (KIA) 25 February, 1944 during aerial combat near Amanvillers (F-57865) in "White 12" with a P-47 of 4FG. He bailed successfully, but was killed when he struck a high tension power line. He crash landed his 109 near Antwerp on 17 August, 1943 due to fuel shortage (Rosseels). One known victory, a Typhoon at Neuville-Vitasse on 16 June, 1943. On 2 September, 1943, he shot down Lt. John Vogts Thunderbolt of 56th FG ("Zemkes Wolfpack), 10 km ENE of Etaples, but his claim was denied for lack of a witness. Vogts P-47 crashed at Eastchurch, England. Another known victory, a P-51 at Rosay, NW of St. Saens, on 7 September, 1943. A B-24 on 29 January, 1944.

He bailed successfully, but was found dead. Buried Ysselsteyn, BC/8/176. He was uninjured when he crashed his A-2 at Woensdrecht Holland airfield on 10 June, 1942 due to a servicing fault. His 1st victory, a Spitfire 50 km NNW of Ostende on 29 July, 1942. His 2nd, a B-25 110 km west of Ijmuiden on 27 February, 1943. Known victims, his 3rd, 4th, and 5th were: a Spitfire on 2 May, 1943, a P-47 50 km north of Vlissinghen on 14 May, 1943 and another Spitfire on 10 June, 1943. Added: His wingman in July 1942, was Uffz Rudi Hanninger (C.Sundin).

KilledInAction (KIA) 10 April, 1945 in a dogfight over Vienna with Soviet fighters near Deutsch-Wagram. He crashed into a railway embankment in the vicinity of the Aspern airfield and bled to death as the result of a very serious back wound probably by a Flak grenade. Buried in Vienna Zentralfriedhof, Grp 97, Blk 5, Row 24, Gr 119. His first known victory, a LaGG-5 on 28 April, 1944 (Added: according to a letter of Wenger his first confirmed kill was a Pe-2 on his 201st mission on 24-25?/03/44. CKönig). 372 missions, including 71 fighter bomber missions. Added: SD by an American fighter 27 June, 1944, 55km from Bucharest. He was reported to have claimed two additional Russian victories over Vienna on April 4th & 5th, 1945 (Carolyn Yeager/Willi Wenger online article). Added: During heavy Jabo missions on the English south coast against English warships, Wenger sank one (other src 2) destroyers and a submarine escort ship with a total of 20,000 GRT Merchant shipping space. He also took part very successfully in the fight against the Allied landing at Dieppe, where he seriously damaged the destroyer "BERKELEY", which was later sunk by its own crew. After being wounded by Allied bombing raids and spending several months in a hospital, he returned to his unit in the southern section of the Eastern Front at the end of October 1944. His 300th combat mission in May 1944. > 400 combat missions: according to a letter of Wenger to his father dated 17/12/44 he was presented champagne from his commander Major Götz Baumann on the occasion of his 400th combat flight. He was injured in an emergency landing at Colmschate (Marsdijk, gem. Diepenveen per DeSwart) after downing his P-51 on 19 September, 1944. One known victory, his 1st, a B-24 on 30 January, 1944. Another, a B-17 on 8 March, 1944, no location. His 3rd, a B-17 on 8 April, 1944, while in Sturmstaffel 1, no location. His 4th, a B-17 N of Oebisfelde on 29 April, 1944. His 5th, a B-17 at Nidda on 12 May, 1944. His 6th, a B-17 (HSS) at Nauen, west of Berlin, on 24 May, 1944 (Perry Claims). A 7th, a P-51 at Deventer-Holten on 19 September, 1944. His 8th victory, a Typhoon in the Aschen area on 1 January, 1945. Nos. 13 & 14, both Pe-2s on 16 April, 1945. Magnus, 22 victories (including 5 4mots CK). Added: He was shot down by Soviet Flak and went into captivity. Had been shot down 6 times; he baled out one time and made 5 belly landings. Returned from Russian POW camps on 23/12/47. Joined the Bundeswehr - Luftwaffe in 1956 - was a fighter flight instructor and retired in 1980 as Lt. Colonel.

His 1st victory, a Blenheim southwest of Opladen, north of Leverkusen, 7 November, 1939, while serving in Stab III/JG-26. His 4th, a Hurricane at Overijsche, SE of Brussels on 15 May, 1940. His 5th victory, a Spitfire west of Dunkirk, 29 May, 1940. His 10th, a Hurricane 15 km NE of Dover on 28 July, 1940. Shot down Peter Waghorn 261 Sqd during attack on Malta. One known early Soviet victory, two Pe-2s on 3 August, 1942 in a Bf 109F. A MiG-3 on 9 August, 1942. 11 victories in the Desert. He was also known to fly AC Bf 109E-7 "White 12" in 7 Staffel. Another double victory, both DB-3s on 9 July, 1941. A triple victory on 2 December, 1941; two Pe-2s and an I-18. A MiG-3 SE of Schalsk on 26 March, 1942. A triple on 28 May, 1942; two MiG-1s and a U-2, while in Stab IV/JG-51. Four Il-2s on 1 August, 1942. Two LaGG-3s and a DB-3 in the Krestzsky area on 4 October, 1942. His last two victories, both MiG-3s on 8 November, 1942, just one day before becoming a POW. Another source says he scored three victories on 9 November, 1942. Released from captivity mid-December, 1949. Deceased 13 December, 2004. A 5th, a Hawk-75 at Roye on 6 June, 1940. Nos.7, 8 & 9, all Spitfires over Dover on 31 August, 1940. His 10th a Spitfire at Ashford on 4 September, 1940. Beck, Jr (Evade/POW/died in POW Camp), flying a P-47D of 406FG, 514FS. Both ac were lost due to damage sustained in a head on pass. Lt Beck crashed landed at Abondant, northern France, 8km NE of Dreux, Normandie, France. The German pilot was seen bailing. The French Resistance reported to Lt Beck, that the German troops "killed the pilot", mistaking him for an American flier. This may be the reason why there is no known grave and no OKL Claim (T.Kracker).
