Two P2s, an Il-7 and a Yak-1 on 30 May, 1943. 5 Soviets on 19 July, 1944. One known western victory, a B-17 opposing the Stuttgart Raid on 13 September, 1944. In October 1944, he was forced to bail out five times in ten days! On 15 March, 1945, he was shot down in "Black 12" and severely wounded by Russian AA fire. In 1945, after the surrender, he was taken into Russian confinement, but released shortly after, due to the detioration of his wounds. Deceased 26 April, 2001. Wife, Ida, also deceased, 2003.
