There is a rogue group of copyright infringers who have stolen a much earlier version of my data - from at least 10 years ago - and have the affrontery to publish that, along with using my name, on their poorly researched website. They claim this is the 'original' Kracker Archive, a ridiculous claim since my Archive has been in a state of continuous development for over 30 years and nobody - NOBODY - has the original. They have no right to use my name or my data and readers who come across this nonsense should do nothing to encourage theft of this nature. I am outraged by this blatant theft and misrepresentation of my lifetime's work. The ONLY person I have ever authorized to publish my data and use my name is Kelvin Youngs, who earned my trust and respect many years ago and is authorized by me to publish my work on whichever website he organizes, currently this being its present home at the highly respected Aircrew Remembered.

KIC 12 May, 1944 when his Me 410 crashed near Beauvais during a ferry flight, cause unknown (Luft Offz Career Summaries). Added: 5/44 Remaining crew (disposition unk): Uffz Otto Martin Bitriol and Fw Hubert Petermann. His Ju 88 was reported damaged when it crashed at Klatov, CZ. on 1 February, 1942, cause and crew disposition unknown. Remaining crew: Uffz Heinz Clohsen, Gefr Otto Bitriol and Gefr Hubert Petermann (F.Braun).

The crew had been ordered to evacuate as many as possible from Windau to Kiel, however, they lost their direction in bad weather. Blum saw the harbor lights and thought it a safe harborand landed at 0500 hours. The passengers had been members of the 2nd Flak Abt.127, under the command of Oblt Claus Winkler of Nachrichtenabt-41. Winkler remained interned until 27 January, 1946, when he was permitted to return to West Germany. 26 of the 37 were turned over to the Russians as POWs, only 14 were returned from the East. WIA 30 January, 1944 when his Ju 88C-6 crashed at Ebbenbroek Holland, near Hardenberg, after being damaged during aerial combat (DeSwart & Balss). One known victory, perhaps his 1st, a Halifax 5 km northeast of Laimont on 17 April, 1943. An "unidentified AC" N of St. Trond on 13 May, 1944. A "4 mot" at Rotterdam on 22 May, 1944. His R/O was Konrad Rössner. He flew 45 combat missions in Russia (Operation Barbarossa) as a destroyer pilot. 2 victories as a Destroyer pilot. Both survived the war. Magnus, 10 victories. Boiten 7 victories. Added: His two crewmen were KilledInAction (KIA) on 30 January, 1944. Remaining crew (pos unk): Uffz Erich Gernegross (geb 8/27/1914 Lugau), Gnr and Fw Heinz Claus (geb 5/4/1916 Hanover), R/O. Uffz Gernegross bur Ysselsteyn Q-10-232; Fw Claus bur Ysselsteyn Q-10-233 (Find-A-Grave by Fred).
