There is a rogue group of copyright infringers who have stolen a much earlier version of my data - from at least 10 years ago - and have the affrontery to publish that, along with using my name, on their poorly researched website. They claim this is the 'original' Kracker Archive, a ridiculous claim since my Archive has been in a state of continuous development for over 30 years and nobody - NOBODY - has the original. They have no right to use my name or my data and readers who come across this nonsense should do nothing to encourage theft of this nature. I am outraged by this blatant theft and misrepresentation of my lifetime's work. The ONLY person I have ever authorized to publish my data and use my name is Kelvin Youngs, who earned my trust and respect many years ago and is authorized by me to publish my work on whichever website he organizes, currently this being its present home at the highly respected Aircrew Remembered.

Note that some sources used to develop this Archive date back 3 decades and may not have been consistent: you should try various options. For example 5./JG 51 may have been encoded as 5/JG 51 or 5./JG-51. You can also search on aircraft types such as Me 109, P-47.

One known victory, a Dragonfly N of Anzio on 8 February, 1944. A 2nd, a B-24 7 km SW of Montalto di Castro on 3 March, 1944. A 3rd, a B-17 S of Bologna on 30 April, 1944. KIFA 17 April, 1945 when on a mission near Lake Schwerin, he flew right into the mirror-clear water. An AC, identified as the D-9 of Karl Fröb, was discovered in 1990, and the body was assumed to be Ostrowitzki, the only known missing D-9 pilot to have crashed in Lake Schwerin. One known victory, his 5th, a P-51 at Tangerhütte-Burg on 11 April, 1944. His 6th, a B-17 SE of Reuden on 29 April, 1944. A 7th, a B-24 N of Paris on 6 August, 1944. Magnus Report.

Night Fighter Operational Clasp
KilledInAction (KIA) the night of 23/24 December, 1944, shot down by an Allied night fighter ( per Boiten) most likely a Mosquito of RAF No. 85 Sq., piloted by F/Lt G.C. Chapman) by Frei-Laubertsheim, SE of Bad Kreuznach. Remaining crew: Gefr Kloth, R/O, bailed safely; and Uffz Wenzel Nosko (5/26/22), Gunner, bailed with wounds. One known victory, a Lancaster WSW of Darmstadt on 12 September, 1944. Three "4 mots" on 19 October, 1944; one by Tübingen, the other two in the Stuttgart area.

On 25 December, 1942, in 9 Staffel, his G-2 sustained 80% damage, location and pilot disposition unknown. On 14 May, 1943, in 12 Staffel, another G-model sustained an unknown amount of damage over the Wevelgem airfield, pilot disposition unknown. One known victory, a Beaufighter W of Texel on 2 August, 1943.
