There is a rogue group of copyright infringers who have stolen a much earlier version of my data - from at least 10 years ago - and have the affrontery to publish that, along with using my name, on their poorly researched website. They claim this is the 'original' Kracker Archive, a ridiculous claim since my Archive has been in a state of continuous development for over 30 years and nobody - NOBODY - has the original. They have no right to use my name or my data and readers who come across this nonsense should do nothing to encourage theft of this nature. I am outraged by this blatant theft and misrepresentation of my lifetime's work. The ONLY person I have ever authorized to publish my data and use my name is Kelvin Youngs, who earned my trust and respect many years ago and is authorized by me to publish my work on whichever website he organizes, currently this being its present home at the highly respected Aircrew Remembered.

Another source (Manrho/Putz publ,) suggests he made a belly landing and was captured. WIA 6 July, 1944 during aerial combat with a P-51 8km west of Verona, bailed safely (Bf 109 Loss List). One known victory, his 1st, a P-38 on 10 May, 1944. His 2nd, a P-47 on 9 June, 1944. His 3rd, a P-51 on 18 September, 1944, no location given.

Friedrich Alpers (25 March 1901 – 3 September 1944) was a German Nazi politician and SS-Obergruppenführer. He was also a Minister of the Free State of Brunswick,[2] and Generalforstmeister (General forest supervisor). Alpers was responsible for numerous political crimes in Brunswick. Alpers committed suicide in 1944, while in US custody. NSDAP and SS career Born in 1901, Alpers studied law and political science at the Heidelberg University, Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and University of Greifswald. He became a lawyer in 1929. In June 1929, Alpers joined the Nazi Party (NSDAP membership number 132,812). In May 1930 he joined the Sturmabteilung (SA). On 1 March 1931 he joined the SS (membership number 6,427). He was an active member in the SS, rising to the rank of Obergruppenführer. Since October 1930, he was Minister of the Brunswick State Parliament. Alpers was twice temporarily suspended from the SS in 1933 following complaints of excessive violence made against him during the Nazi takeover of Brunswick. Minister of the Free State of Brunswick After the Nazi seizure of power, Alpers became Finance and Justice Minister of Brunswick on 8 May 1933 (a position in which he served until 1934) under the Ministerpräsident Dietrich Klagges. Along with Klagges and Friedrich Jeckeln, Alpers was one of the main persons responsible for the Gleichschaltung and persecution of political opponents in the Free State of Brunswick. Rieseberg-murder Subordinated to Alpers was Klagges "Hilfspolizei" ("Auxiliary Police"). This force was directly answerable to Klagges and consisted of SA, SS and Stahlhelm men. On 4 July 1933, Alpers was directly involved in the Rieseberg-murder of eleven communists and labor organizers in Rieseberg, about 15 miles (24 km) east of Braunschweig.

A B-17 NE of Gedser on 9 October, 1943. Downed a "4 mot" near Berlin on 16 December, 1943. One of these must have been "unconfirmed", since his 5th per OKL, was a B-24 on 4 January, 1944. A "4 mot" W of Paris on 8 June, 1944. a 2nd "4 mot" same day, 80 km N of Paris. A "4 mot" SSW of Paris on 10 June, 1944. Two more "4 mots" SW of Paris on 11 June, 1944. Another double on 13 June, 1944; both "4 mots" in the Lens-Arras area. Scored 5 victories, all Lancasters of RAF No. 619 Sq., within 30 minutes on one mission, 18 July, 1944, over northern France. One late victory, a Mosquito on 3 April, 1945. In the last days of the war, he used the Reinfeld autobahn as a runway during the day. On 7 May, 1945, from his last 262 base at Schleswig-Jagel, rather than waiting to surrender to the British, Altner simply got on his bike and pedaled home!

Destroyed 51 tanks, 2 armored trains, numerous shipping hits. Shot down, suffering a broken jaw; hit by MG fire from a LaGG-3, piloted by Starshina Shakh, of 11 GIAP, on 24 April, 1942. He bailed safely and managed to return to his base at Krasnoye-Selo. A fighter pilot dispatched the LaGG-3, avoiding a worse fate for the Stuka pilot. Shot down repeatedly over the Kuban bridgehead. His EP was awarded on 8 December, 1941. Deceased 24 March, 1997 (Heinrich Breuer). Added: The mission on 24 April, 1942 was to attack shipping at Kronstadt, located on Kotlin Island in Kronstadt Bay, west of Leningrad. Whether sd by Skakh or flak, Maj Bauer was injured making a forced landing at Krasnoye-Selo, SSW of Lenningrad. He was out of action until 25 February, 1943 (D.Drury).

Night Fighter Operational Clasp		His G-1 sd by own flak at Wiers 19 October, 1944. He, and his R/O Uffz Herbert Anders (added: 14/12/17 in Bad Lausick, CKönig) bailed safely w/o injury. His Gnr Uffz Reinhold Leuze bailed with wounds (added: 05/11/23 in Ersingen, CK) (Lost Aircraft Report). One known victory, a "4 mot" at St Dizier on 19 July, 1944. Added: Uffz. Leuze was paralyzed on his left side by flak splinters in his back. The Radop placed the seriously injured man over the exit flap with his life jacket on, the life jacket valve open and his arms folded so that the draft of the free fall would pull his hands to the side and the parachute would have to open. Unfortunately, during this work, the radio operator's parachute opened while he was still in the plane. But he was lucky, stuffed the parachute together with both hands and was able to leave the plane safely. Hanging on the parachute, he shot a signal with the flare gun that had been agreed upon with Hptm Berger, so that he too, knowing his crew was safe, was the last to leave the machine. Leuze and Anders survived the war (CK)

On 16 May, 1942, no disposition of Biermann is given in this "K 135" incident which happened at the Siwerskaja airfield also. One known Soviet victory, a Yak-1 on 9 May, 1942. One known western victory, a Photo Recon Spitfire 20 km N of Emden on 7 September, 1942. On 17 April, 1943, while in 5/JG-11, flying the Fw 190A-4 & 5, he opposed B-17s, downing one-his 4th victory, over Wilhelmshaven/Emden, flying out of Jever. Another B-17 claimed on 19 May, 1943 on the Kiel raid. His 6th, a B-17 (HSS) at Schaal See on 25 July, 1943. His 7th, a P-47 38 km NW of Nordeney on 27 September, 1943. His 8th, a B-24 off Ile d Oleron on 31 December, 1943. The Bf 109G-1 in JG-1 was Werk # 14047 "Black 8" in which Biermann made a force landing on 11 July, 1942, W of Emden due to engine trouble. Survived the war; a friend of Knoke.

Eyewitnesses said the victorios AC apperaed to be twin-boomed tail. He was flying wingman for Oblt Werner Kohla. Over 170 combat missions. He was carried as MIA until his discovery 23 November, 1996 at Ecretteville-les-Baons, France. Buried in the German Soldier Cemetery, Champigny, St Andre, Block 13, Row 5, Grave 285. The Luftwaffe Loss Report states the AC # as 27106.
