There is a rogue group of copyright infringers who have stolen a much earlier version of my data - from at least 10 years ago - and have the affrontery to publish that, along with using my name, on their poorly researched website. They claim this is the 'original' Kracker Archive, a ridiculous claim since my Archive has been in a state of continuous development for over 30 years and nobody - NOBODY - has the original. They have no right to use my name or my data and readers who come across this nonsense should do nothing to encourage theft of this nature. I am outraged by this blatant theft and misrepresentation of my lifetime's work. The ONLY person I have ever authorized to publish my data and use my name is Kelvin Youngs, who earned my trust and respect many years ago and is authorized by me to publish my work on whichever website he organizes, currently this being its present home at the highly respected Aircrew Remembered.

He tried to force land his damaged AC, when he lost control and crashed into a railway embankment in the vicinity of Birkental, near Myslowitz Upper Silesia. He was shot down with wounds in "Black 33" on 7 July, 1944 and made an emergency landing at Moran. 373 missions, 79 victories in the East. A Beaufighter 8 km north of Ras el Barrani on 23 August, 1942. Four P-40s of RAF No. 250 Sq. near Tarfa on 9 October, 1942. Two more British fighters on 10 October, 1942; one a PRU AC, the other a Spitfire of RAF No. 92 Sq, both over the sea. A P-40 15 km south southwest of Fuka N. Africa on 20 October, 1942 and another P-40 south southeast of Quotifiya N. Africa on 22 October, 1942. Downed a P-38, his 7th victory, 10 km southwest of Pont du Fahs on 29 November, 1942. Bake's A-8 was reported to have crashed at Ruurlo Holland on 14 January, 1945, cause and pilot disposition unknown (DeSwart). One known victory, his 1st, a B-17 at Lüttich on 24 December, 1944. Added: Uffz Bake bailed with wounds after combat; his ac crashed at Batsdijk Ruurlo (SGLO).

Earlier, he successfully belly landed the Ju 88 which belonged to JG-2 on 25 July, 1944, no further detail (LOCS).

Force landed on 04/05/43 10 km E of Varenikovskaya after combat with Il-2s of 190 ShAP and Yak-1s of 236 IAP. Crash landed on 02/11/43 at Bagerovo due to motor trouble following combat with P-39s of 863 of IAP. WIA on 28/02/44 when crash landed near Karankut when shot downby Yak-1s of 812 IAP. In 1948 he flew combat missions with the Syrian Air Force in the Arab-Israeli War and later immigrated to Canada. Deceased in 09/90 in Scarborough, Ontario/Canada. (CK)

Injured in a takeoff accident at Gossen on 16 February, 1945. He spent the remainder of the war in a hospital (Source: SIG Norway & F. Braun & R. Kull). Ecke and wingman Ogefr Hans Günther Heep were flying from Kirkenes to Banak in Norway on 15 November, 1944, when a combination of bad weather, engine trouble and a malfunction of the radio equipment prevented them from continuing their flight as they were about out of fuel. Both bailed successfully, Ecke landing near Kutjaure and Heep at Stordalen. They were reunited on 23 December, 1944. They met again in Norway in early 1945 (source: B.Widfeldt & F. Braun and R. Kull).

2 Bombers. 700+ combat missions, 86 victories in the East. Four victories in the Bf 110. Served briefly in 3/JG-52, as a Lt.. Commanded III/JG-11 before his last assignment in JG-210. His 1st victory, a Fesselballon, 16 September, 1939, in 3/JGr-152. His 7th, a Hurricane at Ashford on 1 December, 1940, while in Stab/JG-51. His first known Soviet victory, a Douglas and an R-5 on 26 July, 1941, one of many multiple victories in the East. On 24 January, 1942, after his 45th victory, he was shot down with wounds behind Russian lines, in his Bf 109F-2 Werk # 9204. Despite a severe eye wound, he was able to evade capture, and after a lenghty recuperation, returned to flight duty. On 28 December, 1942, his life was most certainly saved by Fw Elias Kühlein, who warded off P-38s swarming around Grasser. Added: >500 combat missions (CKönig) He survived the war, but was handed over to the Russians and spent the next four tears in extremely severe prison conditions. Barbarossa pilot. 19 bombers. Over 400 missions. All victories in the West. He wore the Croatian Pilot wings also. He joined the "circle of four-engine bomber slayers: Specht, Frey, Sommer and König. He tried the new idea of dropping a timed-fuse bomb into the middle of a B-17 "box". He crashed a Bf 109G at Hilversum Holland on 30 January, 1944, his injuries, if any, unknown, serving in 5/JG-11 at the time (DeSwart). His 20th victory, a B-17 at Wagenfeld-Sulingen on 10 February, 1944. Opposed the 6 March, 1944 Berlin Raid, and the Schweinfurt Raid, but crashed at an airfield near Bonn after his left wing spar was severely damaged by B-17 return fire. His mechanic was Ogefr Arndt. Flew Bf 109E "Black 3" in Autumn 1941 in JG-1. Flew Bf 109G-1 in 5/JG-11. His 25th victory, a P-51 at the Waggum airfield on 29 April, 1944. Alt incorrect spelling; Knocke. His flying career ended with a car crash on 9 October, 1944 which nearly caused him to lose a leg. After the war, he resided at Ahornweg 7, 4505 Bad Iburg, Ger. Deceased 18 May, 1993.

He then walked home to Geislingen. No explanation for the losses of his "Black 13". His first known victory, a Soviet Yak-9 on 4 June, 1944. Nos. 2 & 3, both Il-2s on 22 September, 1944. Came to JG-26 with 3 victories while in ZG-26, with 29 combat missions. One known victory, his 1st, a Hurricane north of Etaples on 17 June, 1941. His 2nd, a Spitfire west of Boulogne on 21 June, 1941. His 3rd, a Spitfire at St. Omer on 2 July, 1941. His 4th, a Spitfire at St Omer on 9 July, 1941. A 5th, a P-40 into the sea west of Le Touquet on 20 July, 1941. His 6th, a Spitfire on 27 August, 1941, no location. His 7th, a Spitfire at St Omer/Longuenesse airfield on 17 September, 1941. An 8th, a P-38 at Lisieux-Bernay on 4 July, 1944. Flugbuch (1/39 to 8/43).
