Three victories in Spain. One known victory, his 1st, a Hurricane over Lille, 16 May, 1940. His 3rd, a Spitfire at Dorchester on 25 August, 1940. His 4th, a Spitfire in the Ashford area on 4 September, 1940. His 5th, a Hurricane at Boulogne/Hardelot on 21 June, 1941. His 6th, a Spitfire in the Dunkirk area on 26 June, 1941. Another Spitfire, his 7th, on 5 July, 1941, no location. His 8th, a Spitfire near Dieppe on 20 September, 1941. Downed his 1st P-51 on 21 July, 1942, Caudebec-en-Caux, piloted by F/Lt Veal Rowland of No 239 Sq. (POW). Two more P-51s on 19 August, 1942 over Dieppe. Another victory, a B-17 at Map Quadrant 1175/05 East on 6 September, 1942. A Spitfire on 31 October, 1942. A B-17 south of Lannion on 16 February, 1943. A B-17 6 km west of St. Valery on 28 March, 1943. A B-17 15 km northwest of Rennes on 29 May, 1943. Bowers/Lednicer, 56 victories. Alternate spelling: Bolze.
