There is a rogue group of copyright infringers who have stolen a much earlier version of my data - from at least 10 years ago - and have the affrontery to publish that, along with using my name, on their poorly researched website. They claim this is the 'original' Kracker Archive, a ridiculous claim since my Archive has been in a state of continuous development for over 30 years and nobody - NOBODY - has the original. They have no right to use my name or my data and readers who come across this nonsense should do nothing to encourage theft of this nature. I am outraged by this blatant theft and misrepresentation of my lifetime's work. The ONLY person I have ever authorized to publish my data and use my name is Kelvin Youngs, who earned my trust and respect many years ago and is authorized by me to publish my work on whichever website he organizes, currently this being its present home at the highly respected Aircrew Remembered.

KilledInAction (KIA) 26 August, 1940 during aerial combat with RAF fighters over the Thames Estuary. He crashed into the Chislet Marshes at Shuart Farm, St. Nicholas, at Wade, Kent, in 40 feet of marsh. His remains and AC were recovered in 1984. Buried Cannock Chase, Block 8, Row 7, Gr 168 (M.Croft & D.Drury). One known victory, his 1st, a Potez 63 10 km northeast of Evreux, 19 June, 1940. Added: Buchner would often fly with his dog Peterle and according to family members Peterle actually flew on some operational flights over Britain. (CK)

A former Ground Attack pilot, he flew 631 missions (Crimea & Romania), was shot down five times, wounded twice, and destroyed 46 tanks, etc. 46 victories in the Fw 190 in the East. Twelve jet victories. His first known Soviet victory, a LaGG-3 on 13 September, 1942. An R-5 on 24 October, 1943, while in 6/SG-2. A Boston and a U-2 on 28 October, 1943. Twelve 4 engine bombers with the Me 262. One known bomber victory, while in 6/SG-2, a B-17 in the Bucharest area on 23 June, 1944. A P-47 W of Rheine on 29 October, 1944. A P-51 4 km N of Legden, SE of Ahaus, on 1 November, 1944. His 53rd victory, a P-51 near Stendal on 22 February, 1945. His 54th, a B-17(HSS) NW of Hamburg on 20 March, 1945. His 55th, a B-17 in the Cottbus area on 22 March, 1945. His 56th, a B-17 S of Berlin on 24 March, 1945. His 57th, a B-24 S of Hamburg on 25 March, 1945. His 58th, and last victory, a Lancaster on 31 March, 1945. Nominated for the EL. Survived the war. Last Flugbuch entry, "3/45". Buchner was featured on the History Channel as Me 262 pilot. Deceased 1 December, 2005. .

KilledInAction (KIA) 5 September, 1942 after atacking Soviet tanks and an AA position in Mikhailovskyi, northeast of Mga, south of Lake Ladoga S.U.. His AC took a direct flak hit. Hanne ordered his R/O , Ogefr Büchner to bail out, which he did. The AC went into a spin, trapping Hanne. 538 missions, destroying 16 tanks, 26 AA guns, 2 armored and 4 supply trains, 9 pillboxes and bridges.

14 Immel, HansOfw4/KG-26 (Lüneburg)He 111H "1H + LM" (lost)Bomber Operational ClaspPOW 8 October, 1939 after crashing in the Danish Island of Fano when both engines quit due to their running out of fuel. With no time to turn and land on the shore line, Immel crashed through telephone lines and a large number of trees, totalling the AC, and injuring Mechanic Uffz Anton Brunner. Remaining crew (POW): Lt Werner Wanderer, Nav. (and also a pilot) and Gefr Kurt Büchner, R/O. The crew remained interned until the German occupation of Denmark, 9 April, 1940.
