A Lancaster of RAAF 460 Sq., "AR-N", piloted by P/O S.J.Ireland by Kerkrade, S of Jüngenburg, on 29 December, 1943. A "4 mot" SW of Eisleben on 20 February, 1944. A Halifax on 23 April, 1944, no location. A Lancaster of RAF No.514 Sq. near Radio Beacon "Kuli" (northern France) on 29 July, 1944. A 2nd "4 mot" same night, W of Stuttgart. His R/O was Fw Alfred Staffa. Two "4 mots" and a Lancaster opposing the Koblenz Raid on 6 November, 1944. Survived the war. First to use 262 ejection seat in combat.
