In addition to the aircrew, three soldiers of the Canadian 3rd Anti-Tank Regt. died of burns because the ac crashed on the house in which they were billeted. They died from burns in the Worthing hospital on 10 or 11 August, and are buried at Brookwood Military Cem.. L/Sgt Charles J. Cronin, Gr 38.B.2.; L/Bdr John MacDonald, Gr 38.B.3. and Gnr Frank T.Johnson, Gr 38.B.1.. (D.Drury).

Added: he seemed to have been a participant of Olympia 1938 and seemed to have been an aerobatic pilot according pictures before the war (CKönig). |
