He crashed his C-2 at Steenbergen Holland on 12 August, 1941; shot down by S/Ldr Stephen Harbourne of RAF No. 234 Sq. (DeSwart). Remaining crew (survived w/wounds): OFw Willi Mayer, R/O and OFw Paul Licht, Gunner (Rosseels). Added: SGLO names Mayer as pilot and Hülshoff as Observer, no Gunner mention. Another known victory, a Wellington on 28 August, 1942. His 11th victory, a B-17 at Insel Lolland on 9 October, 1943. Bowers/Lednicer, 24 victories.
