He crashed his C-2 at Steenbergen Holland on 12 August, 1941; shot down by S/Ldr Stephen Harbourne of RAF No. 234 Sq. (DeSwart). Remaining crew (survived w/wounds): Ofw Willi Mayer, R/O and Ofw Paul Licht, Gunner (Rosseels). Added: SGLO names Mayer as pilot and Hülshoff as Observer, no Gunner mention.
