Known to have belly landed an Fw 190A near Sangershausen on 21 November, 1944, cause and pilot disposition unknown (Wiegels). One known victory, his 1st, a B-24 (HSS) on 9 April, 1944 at Heilligenhafen. A 2nd, a P-47 at Chartres/Plain de Beauc on 7 August, 1944. One of the above must be "unconfirmed, since OKL reports his 2nd & 3rd victories were on 21 November, 1944, as follow: a B-17 (HSS) and a B-17, both at Gotha-Erfurt, opposing the Merseburg raid. |
