His R/O this date, Uffz Franz Temme (born 15/03/22 in Kessel/Kleve, see pic) also KilledInAction (KIA) (CK). WIA 20 February, 1944 when he was hit by American bomber return fire over Fyn Denmark. He and Uffz Fritz Schröter bailed, however, Schröters chute did not deploy and he was killed landing on the frozen ground. He was buried in the Fovrfelt Cemetery in Esbjerg on 25 February, 1944. Haase landed safely east of Faaborg and was taken to St Joseph Hospital in Fredericia for treatment (Source: Air War over Denmark). One known victory, a Morane over the Ghent/Termonde area, 12 May, 1940. His 2nd, a Hurricane on 14 June, 1940, no location.
