There is a rogue group of copyright infringers who have stolen a much earlier version of my data - from at least 10 years ago - and have the affrontery to publish that, along with using my name, on their poorly researched website. They claim this is the 'original' Kracker Archive, a ridiculous claim since my Archive has been in a state of continuous development for over 30 years and nobody - NOBODY - has the original. They have no right to use my name or my data and readers who come across this nonsense should do nothing to encourage theft of this nature. I am outraged by this blatant theft and misrepresentation of my lifetime's work. The ONLY person I have ever authorized to publish my data and use my name is Kelvin Youngs, who earned my trust and respect many years ago and is authorized by me to publish my work on whichever website he organizes, currently this being its present home at the highly respected Aircrew Remembered.

His 2nd, a Hurricane at Warmwell on 26 August, 1940. Added: KilledInAction (KIA) 5 April, 1943; crashed 6km SW of Villaroche during a searchlight flight (LOCS). Acc. to Air War Publications Zobel had already 2 victory marks on his 110 tail in mid-June 1940. Both engines damaged, the He 11 spiralled down into the sea at Druridge Bay. The aircraft remained afloat for about 15 minutes, thus all five crew members were able to get into their dingy, benefiting from their training earlier in the month at Kristainsand Norway. Remaining crew: Oblt Rudolf Roch, Observer (POW), Gefr Erwin Kulick, wireless operator (POW), Gefr Alwin Machalett, mechanic (POW) and Flgr Ernst Henrichsen, rear gunner (POW). Henrichsen, Kulick and Machalett were wounded in the encounter, Machalett most serious with a severe left leg wound.

One known victory, his 1st, a Hawk-75A at Brie Compte Robert, 3 June, 1940. His 2nd, a Spitfire over the Isle of Wight on 24 August, 1940. His 3rd, a Hurricane S of Portland on 25 August, 1940. His 4th, a Spitfire NE of Portsmouth on 26 August, 1940. His 5th, a Blenheim 35 km N of Le Harve on 12 September, 1940. Victories may be as high as 10.

Another, a Lancaster 40 km WSW of Hannover on 9 October, 1943. Two Lancasters; one at Belzig-Tenbilg, the other N of Sschult-Brandenburg, on 15 February, 1944. A Halifax and a Lancaster at Düsseldorf on 23 April, 1944. His a 9th, a "4 mot" 25 April, 1944 (most likely in the Munich area). Magnus, 10 victories. Boiten 8 victories.

Uninjured 7 July, 1941 when he crashed his E-1 in the Bziszna vicinity. Uninjured 8 July, 1941 when he went MIA briefly with unnamed crew after aerial combat at Volyniec in his E-3, pilot returned (Bf 110 Loss List). He was injured when his Me 262 V5 crashed at Lechfeld due to engine trouble. He bailed with wounds from his Me 262A-1a over Northheim after combat with American fighters in the Dessau vicinity (LOCS & C.Sundin). Two other experienced pilots from JG-7 were sd this same day; Oblt Kelp and Lt Amos. One known victory, a B-17 (HSS) S of Berlin on 24 March, 1945. Wörner was one of three Messerschmidt Experimental Test pilots (with Oblt Ernst Tesch and Uffz Hans Flachs).

Remaining crew (all POW): Lt z Zee Gottfried Schröder, Observer, Uffz Siegfried Soest, wireless operator. At least one of the crew had been injured. While circling to land, for some unknown reason he crashed, also killing his R/O-Gunner, Fw Ernst Kurz. One known victory, a Wellington on 1 August, 1942. KilledInAction (KIA) 17 June, 1943, mortally wounded during aerial combat south of Vlissingen, in his Wk# 0621, by Spitfires of RAF No. 331 & 332 (Norwegian) Sqs.. He was able to bail out, but according to his Kdr. Olejnik, died in his chute. The North Sea claimed his body, south of Vlissingen Holland. Later buried Ysselsteyn, BC/8/192. On 27 September, 1942, he was uninjured when Wk# 5569 crashed near the Woensdrecht Holland airfield, a Fw at the time (DeSwart). One known victory, his 11th, a Spitfire piloted by F/Lt M.M.Shand, 5 km northwest of Waarde Zeeland, on 28 November, 1942. His 12th, a B-24 on 27 January, 1943. A 13th, a Ventura on 4 April, 1943. His 14th, a Ventura 3 km south of Haarlem on 3 May, 1943. His 15th, a B-26 80 km west of Noordwijk on 17 May, 1943. Added: He was uninjured in Wk# 140622 in a crash at Zwaardijk, Callantsoog on 4 March, 1943 due to enemy fire (SGLO).

With both engines out of commission, Wiemer had to ditch the AC. The AC remained afloat long enough for the crew to escape, but not long enough to inflate their dingy. Four crew were picked up by the trawler Harlech Castle, but Uffz Karl Ernst Thiede, gunner, disappeared beneath the waves before he could be rescued (later recovered and buried at Scartho Road Cemetery, Grimsby, Plot 116, Row I, Gr 1. Remaining crew: Fw Franz Schnee, Observer, POW, Uffz Alfred Dittrich, wireless operator, POW, Uffz Willi Wolff, mechanic, rescued but died of wounds before the trawler, Harlech Castle, reached shore.

His first known Soviet victory, said to be nos. 14, 15 & 16, a Hurricane and two DB-7s on 28 July, 1942. A DB-7 on 6 August, 1942. A LaGG-3 on 7 August, 1942. Two LaGG-3s on 11 August, 1942. An Il-2 and a LaGG-3 on 13 August, 1942. A Yak-1 on 21 August, 1942. A Pe-2 on 26 August, 1942. A Hurricane and a Yak-1 on 13 September, 1942. One known western victory, his 28th, a Kittyhawk 5 km northwest of Buerat on 2 January, 1943. In 6 Staffel, he downed a Spitfire 38 km southeast of Medenine on 7 March, 1943. On 10 March, 1943, he downed two Kittyhawks 60 km southwest of Gabes. Transferred to 4 Staffel, he downed a P-38 80 km northwest of Kairouan on 12 March, 1943. He and his ac were recovered in July 2007.

Remaining crew: Lt Eitel Barth, Pilot & RK Holder; Fw Gerhard Weidemann, R/O; Fw Martin Wallrabenstein, Flt Engr and Uffz Ernst Mantel, Gnr.. An Observer, and pilot (07/44) in 9./KG 4, he ended the war with 420 combat missions, including the destruction of 27 locomotives, 24 AC on the ground and 16 tanks. On August 7, 1944, during a US air raid on the Upper Silesian Refinery, the Luftwaffe met the Americans in the area of ​​North Moravia and Silesia. Chronicle of the city of Suchdol n.O. (Mr Zauchtel) states at that date: It was shortly before midday when the battle began. There was a duel of three planes in the sky. After a short shootout, one of the American Mustangs (P-51) sent a Bf 109 G-6 ('White 18') to the ground (W.Nr. 160378). The pilot Lt. Ernst Twittmann tried to get out of the smoking machine. He jumped and his parachute carried him further southwest toward a wooded area. He was wounded, but survived. His fighter fell in a field behind the village. The site of the crash was soon occupied by local SA and guarded.
