This database assembles in one place information held in the several independent listings in the Rob Philips Memorial Archive. You can inspect any listing by referring to the Table of Contents. These listings were developed over a lengthy time by the Author and include the inevitable data repetition. The database brings to a single view all the entries in all the lists for each name, without requiring you to inspect each list separately. You can search on any name and discover in which of the lists he appears and additionally you can search for any term in any list. Note that because of limitations placed by our hosting service a minimum of 4 characters is normally required. However, we have enables ALL 3-character names to be found by adding 'x' to the name. Thus to find the name 'Vos', enter 'Vosx' in the search box. For 2-character names such as 'As' and 'Ot' add 'xx'.

We have left all the original lists in place to respect Rob's original manuscript. You can search in many interesting ways.

His career led to the highest office in the Dutch Airforce, Chef van de Luchtmachtstaf. After his military career, he became secretary to the Minister of Defence. Peetoom and Klink did not survive the war. Peetoom was killed on 1941-08-18 off Norwegian coast as pilot 320 Sqn. Klink died 1942-06-13 as Spitfire pilot in 118 Sqn at Ibsley airfield.
