REASON FOR LOSS:
O a patrol cover Liege, Aachen, Liege, Nijmegen area when at 15:30 hrs. accidentally shot down by United States flak unit near Malmedy, Belgium.
The pilot was sadly killed.

P/O. Collins Alwyn Joseph. Hotton War Cemetery. Grave VIII. B. 8. Son of Elmie Joseph, of San Fernando, Trinidad. Grave inscription: 'Rest Eternal Grant Him, O Lord; Shed Him The Radiance Of Thy Heavenly Light'.
