Berck-sur-Mer, Pas de Calais, France. The Base D'AĆ©ronautique Navale de Berck, now derelict and used for sporting aviation only, was attacked by the Germans on 10 May 1940, leading to the loss of life of four French aviators. J.W.Y. Roeper-Bosch crashed in the Berck-sur-Mer area; the site has not been pinpointed. Berck 051019-4
