REASON FOR LOSS:
It is so very sad that the very many training losses during World War Two are not covered on the many internet aviation websites.
We, at Aircrew Remembered are trying to address this. So many - thousands in fact, were lost on many training accidents - young boys ready to lay down their lives for their country. But sadly lost before they are able to do just that - we are trying to record these training losses and hope that you, as a reader are able to contribute further information.
Taking off at around 15:10 hrs on a sector reconnaissance and aerobatics exercise but lost control very shortly after take off at about 15:40 hrs whilst flying into cloud at 1,000 ft before diving into high ground at location shown.
Of course we welcome any further details from relatives and would proud to update this page.
