REASON FOR LOSS:

Very few details on this loss and we welcome contact from any relative or other researchers.

It seems that they took off from RAF Coltishall on a night interception exercise when it collided with a Proctor aircraft NP349 and crashed at Saxlingham Green, Norfolk. Crew of Mosquito killed - no further information on Proctor crew.

Burial details:

F/O. Peter Watson, Scottow Cemetery, Norfolk. Grave inscription reads: ‘All he had hoped for and all he had, he gave. RIP’.

Charles Ian March of 79 Etchingham Part Road, Finchley London N3, England. No further details.
