1st LT. Ed Tracey 522nd Sqn 27th Fighter Bomber Group

He joined the RCAF 7 months before Pearl Harbor - served one year in the RCAF as a Sgt. pilot (Fleet Finch/Tiger Moth/Fairy Battle/Harvard. He transferred to the USAAF in May of 42. He had flight time in 22 different aircraft (total versions = 45). After the Italian Campaign he returned to the states and trained pilots in the Warhawks and Mustangs.

Capt. Tracey left service in WWII after 4yrs. and 7mos.

He logged 1,200 Hrs of flight. He had a very rare and exceptional experience.
