  • Hauptmann Herbert Heinz Arthur Klein was a German pilot serving with Staffel 1.(H)/14 of the Luftwaffe. On 13 May 1942, Klein was operating a Focke-Wulf Fw 189 reconnaissance aircraft, Werknummer 0181. The aircraft was engaged in reconnaissance operations when it was lost. Klein, who was born on 24 August 1914 in Labuch, Rößel district, East Prussia, to parents Gustav Hermann Klein and Auguste Rosette Klein (née Neumann), was killed in the incident.
